Our "Leadership for Life & Ministry" is an intensive designed specifically for people who aspire to lead with confidence. This comprehensive course delves into the essential aspects of effective leadership, grounded in biblical principles. You will explore the foundational concepts of ministry leadership and its supernatural basis. 

You will discover the significance of relational leadership, understanding that leadership is ultimately about serving others. The intensive focuses on developing the character and qualities of a Christian leader, while also guiding you to identify your unique leadership styles. Practical skills like self-leadership, personal management, and decision-making will be honed. 

You will also gain insights into vision casting, team-building, resource management, and navigating change and transition. By the end of the course, you will be equipped with the tools and knowledge to lead with confidence in various ministry contexts.

The 2-day intensive also includes an Encounter Night at 7pm and extra sessions from experienced apostolic leaders with a focus on impartation.

Our “Holy Spirit in Ministry” intensive is specifically tailored for pastors and leaders seeking to deepen their understanding and experience of the Holy Spirit's role in ministry. This transformative course explores the person, nature, and diverse roles of the Holy Spirit within the Trinity. You will trace the presence and work of the Holy Spirit throughout biblical history, examining Old Testament perspectives, the ministry of Jesus and the early Church, as well as the Spirit's influence in the history of the Church and renewal movements. 

Contemporary understandings of the Holy Spirit in ministry will be explored, including topics such as baptism in the Spirit, hearing from God, the empowering of leadership, spiritual authority, and the manifestation of spiritual gifts. 

You will discover how to minister in partnership with the Holy Spirit, walking in power, faith, and the fruit of the Spirit. By the end of this course, pastors and leaders will be equipped to effectively and authentically minister with the Holy Spirit in their current context.

Join Australian church leaders on a 10 day transformative learning journey to London, travelling to the iconic Royal Albert Hall for the Alpha Leadership Conference. This exclusive CHC opportunity is to learn from influential international church leaders. 

This highly limited experience is part of CHC’s JC113 unit, combining academic study with an immersive international ministry experience. Students will engage in theological reflection, explore diverse ministry models, and gain global perspective in one of the world’s most historic Christian cities. This unit is a part of the Bachelor of Ministries, Diploma of Ministries, Undergraduate Certificate in Leadership or  Undergraduate Certificate in Ministry Practice courses.

Offered across multiple ministry courses, JC113 equips students with practical insight, spiritual depth, and confidence for biblically grounded leadership in today’s global Church.

London Program

Day One: Travel to London

Tuition cost of the unit (FEE-HELP Accessible):
JC113 Ministry Practice 1 (Field Work-Overseas) tuition fee is $6,950, delivered as an international intensive field study. Because this unit is delivered overseas, it includes enhanced academic supervision and overseas delivery and learning activities. As a result, the unit fees include additional costs. 

Travel and accommodation
Costs for travel are additional to the tuition fees for the unit. However CHC are offering students a travel contribution for just $550 which includes:
● Return economy flights from Brisbane, QLD
● Twin-share accommodation located in Kensington (male & male / female & female)
● Ground travel & transfers
● Breakfast
● Alpha Leadership Tour & Alpha Lead Conference tickets
● Travel insurance (basic)
 
Meals
Students will need to allocate about AUD100 per day for lunch and dinner
 
Can I get a refund if something happens?
The $550 travel contribution is refundable up to the 20 February 2026 and the unit tuition fee is payable from Census date 18 March 2026. Whilst this travel component is paid separately the tuition fees of $6,950 for the unit are eligible for FEE-HELP. 

 

This trip is for CHC ministry students who feel called to leadership and are enrolled in JC113 Ministry Practice 1 (Field Work -  Overseas) as part of their studies in one of CHC’s ministry courses, such as the Bachelor of Ministries, Diploma of Ministries, Undergraduate Certificate in Leadership or Undergraduate Certificate in Ministry Practice.

Please note that this unit is not available for students that have already completed JC111 Ministry Practice. 

Can I attend the UK Leadership Conference trip without enrolling in the academic unit?
Yes. Participation in the trip is available both to students enrolled in the accredited unit and to audit (non-accredited) participants.
Audit participants do not enrol in the JC113 accredited unit, do not complete assessments, and do not receive academic credit. They participate in the travel and conference experience only.
The Non-student Guest Program Cost is $7,000, which reflects the full cost of participation, including international travel, accommodation, conference registration, breakfasts, insurance, and program logistics.
